My Story

After a successful career in retail, sales and hospitality management, I made the decision to retrain and follow a life long dream to become a barrister.

I studied full-time alongside working evenings and weekends for 8 years to fully qualify as a barrister of England and Wales. I come from an everyday working family background, attending state school, and have always worked hard to support my family.

I feel that my personal and working life up until this point ensure that I remain down to earth and very approachable. I have been through the struggles encountered by many working families, from having required help from local authorities myself in the past to juggling bills to ensure survival.

My previous career has given me insights into the structuring of small to large size companies. I understand the operational challenges from logistics to marketing and compliance areas from employment to regulations. Now with my legal training I can offer advice that is not only practical but in a way that is easily understood.

Having been a manager for over 20 years I have learnt how to deal with both customers, employees and businesses, at all levels from the board room to the crucial workforce of a business. Treating everyone with the same respect and courtesy regardless of their role.
